When a group of players(victims?) and I get together to game, we want to jump right in as quickly as possible. One of the most time consuming aspects of AD&D™ is creating the player character. I wrote CharGen to cut down character creation time from a few hours, to only a few minutes. CharGen is currently only available in the Classic AD&D version, but soon will be available in versions that support the Unearthed Arcana expansion rule set, and the AD&D 2nd addition rule set.

• Generate ability scores based on different roll methods.
• Generate hit points based on class (applying CON bonuses).
• Generate gold pieces based on class.
• Generate age based on class and race.
• Generate height & weight based on race & sex.
• Generate saving throws based on class (applying bonuses).
• Generate a printable character sheet.
