Bil'zon's Heart
History: Bil'zon was the last in a line of highly successful jewelers in
Citadel Adbar. However, Bil'zon cared nothing for that line of work, and,
after his father's death, proceeded to spend the family fortune down to
nothing. His greatest vice, however, was drink and gambling. He lost
thousands of gold over poor bets (and nearly that mush in bar tabs). The
other dwarves were disgusted, but he paid in coin, so most looked the other
way. He took his love drink to an extreme when he sold the family home
(had been in the family for over 500 years), and used the money to
commission a wizard from Silverymoon to manufacture a very special version
of a Decanter of Endless Water. He called the creation the "Dwarven Mug of
Dreams", the dwarves who saw him drinking himself to death called it
"Bil'zon's Heart". When he finally drunk himself dead before the age of
200, the remaining items he owned were to be taken to Silverymoon to be
auctioned off to pay for various outstanding debts Bil'zon owed. The
Caravan that contained his items, plus a shipment of Dwarven Weapons, was
ambushed by a small horde of orcs, led by Ogres. None of the caravan goods
have been seen since, although many orc leaders have begun to wield finely
crafted Dwarven Axes in combat.

As a young Dwarf, Bil'zon seemed the ideal son, hardworking, industrious,
and eager to learn the family trade. This all changed in his 30th year
though no one knows why. (In reality, his Father Bak'Zon, refused a
under-priced commission from a High Priest of Abbathor, Dwarven God of
Greed. In response to this refusal, Zig'Trin cursed his family, the
drinking and gambling of Bil'zon being the result).

Appearance: This item appears as a finely crafted Beer Stein of Pewter,
with a Platinum lid. Along the base is a electrum ring embedded with 10
gems of different types around it. The Stein's artwork depicts scenes of
Dwarven Greatness (any with the proficiency Religion: Dwarven can tell the
clergy of Abbathor always takes a position of prominence in any of the scenes.

Powers: This Stein functions as a variation upon a Decanter of Endless
Water. When one of the gems is set beneath the handle of the Stein, the
mug fills with a type of Dwarven Ale. Each Gem produces a different type
of ale, all of which are of the highest quality. Each gem will produce 1
gallon per day, for a total of ten gallons of various types of ale each day.
