Description

The Crown appears as an electrum tiara with a chain "hair net", of a type
typically worn by noble ladies for fancy dress.  The 'net is sprinkled with
diamonds and amethysts of the highest quality (located where the chains
overlap and connect).  None of the gems are larger than 2 cm in size.

Known Powers

The Crown bestows the following powers upon the wearer:
-The wearer is considered to have a Wisdom score of 23 for the purposes of
spell immunity
-The wearer receives an additional +2 bonus to all saves vs magics of the
Enchantment/Charm school.
-Any illusion, dream, and sleep magics cast by the wearer inflict a -2 to
the victims saves, in   addition to any other penalties.  In addition,
creatures with magic resistance have their      resistance reduced by 20%
against said spells.

Rumored Powers

The wearers of the crown have been known to manifest some of the same
powers as specialty priests of Leira, and at least one of those who have
done so is known to have not been such.  Whether this is another power of
the Crown or not is not known.

History

The Crown has briefly faded in and out of history, appearing in the hands
of both villains and hereos over the years.  When last seen, in 1363 DR,
the Crown was in the possession of a madwoman wandering the Vilhon Reach,
claiming to be Leira herself....
