Ravencorps 3 - Q'sthiliisis's Trading Coaster
History: Deep beneath the City of Splendors, Waterdeep, lies Skullport,
illicit trading center and meeting point for most of the illegal trade of the
North and the Underdark. One of the newer, and more successful trading coaster
is the Grist Strength Emporium, based out of the Lower Ward of Skullport.
It is run by a pair of Drow Sisters [Q'sthiliisis (CE F-Drow T-10), &
Slytntisis (CE F-Drow F-8)]. Although they dabble in slaves and poisons,
their area of expertise lies in the field of magic items. They covertly
sell one-time use gems stored with spells, as well as various magic items
that have come into their "possession". If one knows how to ask, they can
also come up with Psionically empowered items.

No one knows where the pair originally came from, they just showed up in
town one day, killed the owner of a small warehouse, and set up shop. What
is known, however, is that they have a bunch of tough, yet not terribly
bright guards, and at least one major Mage or Psionicist backing them.
Also, they make good use of the rental zombie agencies around Skullport,
never letting any living being beyond their small, bare front office. They
are believed to be Drow renegades from some House, as they will never deal
with any Drow.

Those who know how to inquire about the more "discreet" elements of
Waterdeep, Luskan, Neverwinter, and some other major North cities, may be
directed to their service (the Host Tower of the Arcane has recently been
purchasing many of their gem-spells). Those directed must be given a Sigil
of introduction (available as the DM sees fit, but should be a Mage or
Thief of evil alignment of at least 8th level. The Individual must go to
their shop in Person, and submit to a Detect Lie, and Detect Magic spells,
while being interviewed by the two sisters about what they want.

Catalog (Items Available):
1. Poisons: Any in the DMG, for 100-1,000 gp a dose, depending on str,
etc. Drow Sleep poison is also available, but only at a cost of 1,000 GP
per 5 dose vial. Also, a Psionic poison (sv vs poison or die in 1 rd) is
available, that breaks down in 1 turn and is undetectable by any psionic or
magical means; 500GP/dose.

2. Short Swords of Backstabbing: These are as described in the CTH,
except they are made of an exceptional green metal (d8/d10 damage). They
are +2 weapons, and all backstabs are made at 4 lvls higher.

3. Potions of Shadow: This allows a thief to assume a "shadow" form, and
gains all the movement abilities/restrictions of a shadow. It lasts for
4d4turns. 1000 GP per container, each has 2 doses. (In/Out)

4. All mundane Thievery equipment from the Complete Thief's Handbook &
Aurora's Whole Realms.

5. Gem-Spells: These gems, usually, garnets, rubies, fire opals, contain
a single mage spell, which can be released at the owners mental command.
The only gems they have available are fire based spells. Each gem costs
200 Gp per lvl of the Spell, plus a charge of 20%.

6. Spells & Spellbooks: As available

7. Slaves: As available, will make efforts for "special orders"

8. Psionic Items: Only made to order, takes 3 rides-3 months to complete.

History: Throughout the multiverse no battle rages like the Blood War
that engulfs the Lower Planes. No place is as ravaged as the Lower Planes,
and no battle ground is as jealously fought over, except, perhaps for the
worlds of the Prime Material Plane. All players (Tanar'rii, Baatezu,
Yugoloths) have sent many agents throughout the millennia to exploit the
prime for anything that could give their side an edge. Grazzt, Lord of
three levels of the Abyss, has long been interested in the Prime Material
World of Toril, with dozens of agents and plans active at any one time.
One of his more successful agents is Ravencorps (F-CE M-14/T13).

Q'sthiliisis is actually Ravencorps, one of Grazzt's more favored agents,
and has completed dozens of successful missions in support of Grazzt, and ,
to a lesser extent, the Blood War. During the Time of Troubles, while
Grazzt had imprisoned Waukeen, he gave Ravencorps the impossible mission of
finding, seducing, and destroying one of the lesser avatars that roamed
Toril, so that he may rise to true Godhood. In this she failed, and had
Grazzt still not been preoccupied with Waukeen, he probably would have
destroyed her. Instead, he sent her on a new mission to imprison the souls
of 1,000 mortals, or less he vent his vengeance on her.

While back on Toril, she encountered the Yochlol, Slytntisis, who had
disappointed Lloth during the Avatar Crises and was hiding from her for the
next 1,000 years or so. Together they came up with a plan to satisfy
Grazzt's plans, as well as suit the Yochlol's need for destruction. Then
they formed the Q'sthiliisis's Trading Coaster. In addition to themselves,
they have the services of a half-dozen Cambions, Plus the Alhoon MindRend
(LE, Alhoon Psi-15), (Ravencorps has his Phylactery to insure his
cooperation), plus the Shadow Fiend ElfStalker. They sell a variety of
cursed items.

Real Catalog:
1. Poisons: As Listed.

2. Short Swords of Backstabbing: As Listed. They are made of Baatorian
Green Steel, plus when the wielder is killed, his soul immediately goes to
Grazzt's domain of the Abyss, and the character is irrecoverable, except
through a Wish Spell.

3. Potions of Shadow: Any character killed while in shadow form is turned
into a Shadow under the control of Elfstalker. Since no body is left
behind when killed, spells such as Raise Dead and Resurrection are useless.

4. All mundane Thievery: Usually gained from Thieves who tried to skip
without paying the bill.

5. Gem-Spells: Forcibly enchanted by Ravencorps' once husband, Svldames
"Firestone" Hightide, now a Wizshade she has imprisoned in a secret grotto
beneath the warehouse.

6. Spells & Spellbooks: Whatever they got from wizards they have
Captured/Killed.

7. Slaves: "special orders" (i.e. kidnapping)

8. Psionic Items: Made by the Alhoon MindRend, use of these items makes an
individual more susceptible to the attacks of an Illithid, all saves are
made at an additional -2, and their MAC has a +2 penalty.
