Anduron's Spellbook resembles sheets of rust coated metal, measuring
3'x4'x10", and weighing over 500 pounds. It contains all Illusion spells
from the Player's Handbook, Tome of Magic, and FR Adventures. It also
contains many of the spells detailed in FR-16 The Shining South. It also
includes the following unique spells (most of which destroy metal or annoy
dwarves):
Level 1
Defoliate (Necromancy)
Range: 10 yrds +10yrds/Level
Components: V,S,M
Duration: Instantaneous
Casting Time: 1
Area of Effect: 1 creature per 5 lvls of the Caster
Save: Negates
By means of this spell, the Caster causes 10-100% (1d10x100of the
targeted creatures' hair to fall out. A successful save vs spell negates
this. The material comp. is a small electrum razor, that is not consumed
in the casting.
Level 3
Warp Metal (Alteration)
Range: 10 yrds +10yrds/Level
Components: V,S,M
Duration: Permanent
Casting Time: 3
Area of Effect: 1/2 cubic ft per lvl of the Caster
Save: None or Negates
This Spell is identical to the Priest Spell Warp Wood, except it warps
metal instead. No save is allowed by magical or enchanted items are
allowed a save vs Crushing Blow to negate the effects. The Material Comp.
is a strip of aluminum that is twisted and consumed in the casting.
Level 4
Susceptibility (Necromancy)
Range: 10 yrds +10yrds/Level,
Components: V,S,M
Duration: 1rd /lvl
Casting Time: 4
Area of Effect: one creature per lvl of the Caster within a 30' radius
Save: Negates
This spell is designed to overcome the enhanced resistance of some
creatures to magic. When cast, all creatures get their normal saving throw
vs spell. Those that save are unaffected. Those that fail lose all innate
bonuses to saving throws vs magic, but not Magic Resistance. For example,
a dwarf loses his Con bonus to saves, a Paladin his +2, a Spec. Mage his
+1, but they would still get the bonus of a Ring of Protection +3. The
Material Component of the spell is a bit of ground rib bone from a Dwarven
Cleric.
Level 5
Power Word: Baldness (Evocation)
Range: 10yrds/Level,
Components: V
Duration: Until Regrown
Casting Time: 1
Area of Effect: one creature
Save: None
This spell causes all the target creature's body hair to fall out. Really
hacks off dwarves, invaluable against Shambling Mounds.
Level 7
Dragon Breath (As per the spell in the Wizard's Spell Compendium, only
researched for the breath weapon of a Rust Dragon. In short it billows
forth a cloud of brown gas in a cone 5' at the base, 75' long, and 30' at
the end. All metal items must make a save vs disintegration or fall into a
pile of rust.
Level 9
Monster Summoning 7 (Rust Monster) (Conj/Summ)
Range: 100yrds
Components: V,S,M
Duration: 1 turn/lvl
Casting Time: 9
Area of Effect: 500 sq ft
Save: None
This is a modified Monster Summoning Spell that Summons 1d10x10 Rust
Monsters that appear 1 rd after the spell is cast. However, the Rusties
are not under the control of the caster, and it is 5% likely they will
remain even after the spell duration has expired. The Material Comp. is a
Rust Monster Egg.
