Description:
Standing a respectable 4’ and a lean 138lbs, Delg is personable and friendly and not quick to offer insult or add to injury. Strikingly keen blue eyes overshadowed by thick black eyebrows wander constantly, never seeming to sit still for long. Unlike most dwarves, Delg keeps only his chin covered in hair, which akin to a thick bush it points down and out almost accusingly. His jowls, upper lip and pate he keeps cleanly shaved. Muscular, but not overly so and quick and agile as any alley cat Delg makes for a rather athletic figure.

Worn black leather armor with metal elbow and knee guards fits Delg like a second skin having been worn smooth with use and care. An orange skull cap and cape, both traced in red, proclaim the dwarf to be a member of the Waterdeep Cellarers’ and Plumbers’ Guild though it is obvious by the worn armor, notched hand axe and light crossbow that the dwarf is more of a trouble-shooter than a laborer.

History:
Delg FastFist was born to Dorbin Grimmhammer and Fletta Hearthflower two retired warriors of the Clan Thunderforge and has lived his whole life in the City of Splendors; Waterdeep, and is quite happy to continue so. As a young dwarf, growing up in the city was one constant adventure after another though it has ‘humanized’ him as his parents like to grumble as it seems Delg is more akin to a human in attitude than dwarf, though he is proud of his ancestry and continues to follow the dwarven gods.

Being lean, lightning quick and born with the advantages of his ancestry Delg found his niche in life as a vermin slayer and troubleshooter for the Cellarers’ and Plumbers’ Guild which was constantly being plagued throughout the city by creatures small and large as well as the occasional monster loosed from the Rat Hills, Undermountain or one of the many exotic cargoes brought into the city. His ability and willingness to travel below ground has brought him in much demand and has also allowed him a certain ‘freedom’ within the guild. He has hunted everything from giant rats to cunning kobolds with success and in doing so he has learned the streets, sewers and cellars of the city very well, even having chanced upon an opening which led into famed Undermountain.

Delg is content with his lot in life as he finds it exciting to delve into dark of the city, explore the sewers, chance upon hidden catacombs, the fierce hunt and kill of his prey and of course … the pay. Above all, Delg is always up for a good adventure.
