We have quite an issue for you this time around. Read on to find out what's new in this issue.
Feature
We have a 48 page adventure module "The Beast of Malar", complete with maps, written by Thomas Hefferon. Quite a lengthy adventure set in the Dalelands. Get it here.
Interview
In the last issue we had an in-depth interview with the Master of the Forgotten Realms, Ed Greenwood. This time around our roving reporter (Kimberly Moser) coralled Forgotten Realms designer and author Eric Boyd. With such titles as Demihuman Deities, Faiths & Avatars, and Powers & Pantheons under his belt, and his involvement in the FR mailing list, this is definitelty a must read. Eric also worked with Ed Greenwood on Volo's Guide to All Things Magical and many articles for Dragon Magazine. Read it here.
NPC's
Our own Michael LeJeune has given us more NPC's. This un-merry band of thieves and assassins call themselves the "Unforgiven." You can check them out here. Updated... We have another addition to the NPC section. Nathan Caroland gave us one of his character sheets to use for our NPC portfolio, a character named Delg Darkdelve. If you're looking, you can find him here
Places
Darren Goddard {daz@isr.gov.au} has provided us with a nice Realsian city, Belakest. For more details on Belakest, you can go here.
Realms Fiction
We have 2 pieces of Realms fiction for this issue. The first is a continuation of last issues "Journal for Adriel" written by Michael Duarte. This second part delves further into the thoughts and events of Ariel. Read it here. The second piece of fiction is by JD Farber and it's called "Jansen's Beginning." It's a humorous little bit on the development of this character. You can read that one here.
Magic Weapons Michael LeJeune provided us with another piece of work for this issue. This is a list of magical weapons and items for use in any Realms Campaign. I know you want to check them out, and you may do so here.
Odds and Ends
The kind people over at the Northern Realms Project Group gave us this interesting piece of work. They call it the Gond Mechanical Man, and you can find it here.
